Our Sustainability Roadmap
Current Practices
Aysmiriah is built on conscious decision making from the outset.
The majority of our garments are made from 100% viscose, selected for its breathability and suitability for warm climates. All orders are packaged plastic free using biodegradable garment bags, recyclable kraft mailers, and recycled paper swing tags.
We work with production partners who align with ethical labour practices and value transparency throughout the supply chain.
Short Term Goals
Over the next 12 months, Aysmiriah is working toward aligning with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
Our focus will be on improving supply chain visibility, reviewing production partners, and continuing to reduce environmental impact through material and packaging choices.
Medium Term Goals
As the brand grows, we plan to increase the use of silks and other natural fibres, reducing reliance on synthetic blends where possible.
We will continue to strengthen supplier relationships and introduce more consistent internal reviews of our sustainability practices.
Long Term Commitment
Aysmiriah aims to formally participate in the United Nations Global Compact and maintain ongoing transparency through progress reporting.
Our approach is focused on steady improvement, responsible growth, and accountability.
As we continue to grow, we are working towards more considered material choices across our collections.
Over time, our goal is to transition into more responsible fibres - including viscose sourced from certified and more traceable origins, as well as silks and other natural materials. These fabrics not only feel refined against the skin, but represent a more thoughtful approach to how our pieces are made.
We also aim to build closer relationships with the mills we source from, and gain greater visibility into how our fabrics are produced - from fibre through to dye - so we can offer more transparency over time.
Aysmiriah is currently working toward aligning with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, an internationally recognised framework focused on human rights, ethical labour, environmental responsibility, and transparent business practices.
As an emerging brand, we view this alignment as a guiding framework rather than a destination. It informs how we shape our sustainability roadmap and reinforces our dedication to growing responsibly and with intention.
We believe that creating fashion for today should never come at the expense of tomorrow.
